ABOUT
60% of people in organisations say they're burnt out. 22% of Australians experienced a mental illness in the last 12 months. Burnout costs an estimated $21k per employee per year - for a 1,000-person organisation, that's $21 million in lost productivity annually.
This isn't a wellness problem, it's a business problem and it's solvable.
The fix is two-pronged: give individuals the tools to manage their own wellbeing and develop leaders who build high-performance cultures with psychological safety at the core.
That's exactly what I do. I'm Angela, founder of Mind Your Grit. I've led teams under significant pressure, experienced severe burnout and panic attacks personally, and spent 16 years in corporate HR and Banking Leadership roles turning that experience, alongside evidence-based psychology, into programs and workshops that create real change at three levels: the individual, the leader, and the culture.
MEET ANGE, OUR FOUNDER
I spent over 16 years in corporate environments, nearly a decade of that in senior banking and HR leadership roles, and for a long time I was very good at pushing through. Until I wasn't.
Burnout has a way of stopping you in your tracks, and while it was one of the hardest things I've been through, it became the turning point that changed everything about how I work, how I lead, and what I believe organisations genuinely owe their people.
Today I'm on a mission to inject wellbeing into every team I work with, because I've seen firsthand what happens when it's treated as an afterthought rather than a foundation. I partner with businesses and leaders who are ready to do things differently, designing wellbeing workshops and programs that go beyond tick-box initiatives to create real, lasting change in the way people feel, connect, and perform at work.
Leadership development sits at the heart of everything I do too, because the two are inseparable. When leaders are equipped, self-aware, and genuinely supported, the culture around them shifts in ways that no wellness program alone ever could. I work with HR teams, middle office, and frontline leaders to design bespoke leadership programs, run targeted workshops, and provide one-to-one coaching that helps people lead with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
I'm currently completing a Masters in Psychology, which sits alongside my corporate background to give me a perspective that's both commercially grounded and deeply people-first. I understand the targets, the complexity, and the pace that comes with running a business or leading a team, and I know how to design solutions that work within those realities, not around them.
I don't do generic programs, I work closely with every person and organisation I partner with to understand what's really going on beneath the surface, to make sure what I deliver actually fits.
If you're ready to invest in your people, or in yourself, I'd love to talk.
